Registration
$95.00 per Dancer
Your $95.00 Registration Fee will include a Nutcracker Sweatshirt.
Rehearsal Schedule

Attending rehearsals is required. Only two (2) unexcused absences may be permitted; if additional absences are incurred, dancers will forfeit their roles.
Costume Fittings
All fittings will be at the Dance Studio. Costume Fitting Schedule – TBA
Communication
For all important information and updates, join us on the Remind App. Ask the Studio for the class code.
Find us on Facebook. Join our private group LASD – For Dancers & Moms for announcements and updates between teachers, dancers and parents.
Program Ads
The Nutcracker Program is a full-size, glossy publication, distributed at each performance. Each dance family is required to sell three (3) advertisement spaces to be printed in the program. The Dance Studio has a book to help you with prospecting businesses.
Congratulatory “yearbook ads” are also permitted and available for sale.
Additionally, short program messages (20 words max) will be available to purchase in the Dance Studio.

Formal Photos
Formal photos of the dancers in their costume will be taken at the Dance Studio.

Hotel Group Rate
For those interested in booking a hotel room during the performance week, a room block is being organized at the Residence Inn Loma Linda. Book By 11/10/24. Group Rate

Load In / Load Out
Volunteers: Women, Men and Trucks
We need help on Move In Day to help build props, lay flooring, wardrobes, hang backdrops, move gift table items, etc. More information on this process will be given out in September. Load out is Sunday, December 8 after the final performance. All items must be put back in their correct storage locations.
Lobby Set Up & Take Down
Volunteers: Women and Men
Assist with Decoration of Christmas Trees, window treatments and gift table set up
- Gift Table and Concessions Volunteers:
Arrive 90 minutes before show time. Must stay at gift table during the show. - Prop Dads: Please Sign Up at the Studio Desk
Cast Party & Photo Op: Saturday, December 7th
Following the first performance on Saturday, dancers may pick one of their costumes for pictures in the lobby or on stage during the Photo Op.
- Optional Gift Exchange: Following the on-stage photo opportunity, dancers can take part in an optional gift exchange with the cast members in his or her group/role. This can be a small gift, ornament, etc.
Dressing Room Volunteers (Women Only):
Volunteers are required to wear a LACBC Shirt or Sweatshirt while backstage. These can be purchased at the Studio. No Siblings/Infants in the dressing room. Sign up at the Front Desk.
Volunteer duties will include:
1. Arrive 90 minutes prior to show time to set up area and greet dancers as they check in.
2. Keep their groups together. Take their group to the restroom and/or snack table outside.
No Food or Drinks Allowed Inside. Water is Permitted.
3. Provide activities if needed for your age group.
No markers or anything that can stain are permitted in the dressing area.
4. Cleans up area after the show.
5. Help dancers get dressed and undressed.
6. Put costumes away properly.
Baked Goods Donation (per Family):
Families of dancers are requested to provide Three Dozen individually packaged baked goods or prepackaged snacks to be sold at the Concession Table. Sign up form is posted at the Dance Studio.
Other Suggestions
Label All Personal Items
Dancers should be prepared with the following items:
- Nude Leotard (to be worn under all costumes)
- Make Up – including RED Lipstick
- Extra Tights / Socks
- Extra Bobby Pins
- Extra Hair Bun Maker
- Hair Brush and Hairspray/ Hair Gel/ Hair Wax
- Hair Piece/Wig (if required)
